Proposal to replace Bagel

Bagel hasn't been the same woman since Y-Guy was deleted. With him announcing his departure this year, now is a great time to start planning for the future of Nickelodeon Foundry. Bagel needs to be replaced by someone responsible, trustworthy, not Hat, and sensible. Who better to fill that void than OswaldFan2006?

OswaldFan2006, formerly RockoFan2006, just joined last week but in that little amount of time he has displayed a tremendous amount of growth, more than that of any other user in our community. "Is this a joke?" you might ask.

Exhibit A

You might remember when he was pleading to be banned indefinitely. This is the exact type of reverse psychology this wiki needs. He is a visionary who will lead this wiki to prosperity. If you can't understand, you're not open-minded and you probably support some radical ideology.

Question

Am I the only one who thinks that Jason Voorhees is a very attractive man? His look gives me insta boner. When Jason kills a teenager I start to smile. Sometimes I dream about him dominating me in the bed. If you have some sex.y pictures of him, please, post them in this thread so I can add them to my f.ap-collection. Sometimes I miss him so much that I start to cry and when somebody asks why I cry, I just say "my eyes are sweating".

new wiki smell

it happened.

other admins if you could help, templates that were previously orange change the hex to #0099D7 (our current background color)

we'll be revamping pages soon, like getting rid of the featured article stuff and replacing it with the advertisement thing i spoke to bagel about. if any of you spot anything else that needs to be changed, aside from the templates, tell me here

New name

What should our new name for the wiki be?

The name should be somewhat relevant to this wiki's topic, fiction (nothing to due with fan-fiction/fanon).
Serious posts only otherwise we admins will remove your message.
Make sure the name isn't taken.
Opinions, please be open. We want a name that everyone in our community will like, or at least mostly everyone. Not saying anything won't help.
To make this easier, if you see a name you like, like the post. Posts with the most likes will face off in a poll. You can like as many posts as you want.

This wiki

I know you're all pretty adamant about this so before you grab your pitchforks, hear me out.

I want to change the wiki's name, that's all. The name of this site doesn't reflect what this wiki is actually about. We rarely create Nickelodeon fan fiction and mainly create fiction, our own stories with no connection to any outside media. We've been doing this for years yet we're still called Nickelodeon Fanon. A majority of us don't even watch Nickelodeon I mean really what's the point?

By changing the name hopefully we'll attract a different type of audience as well instead of these emotionally unstable 12-year-olds we're so gracefully blessed with. The rules and everything else will remain the same and Nick fanon will still be allowed it just won't be our main priority.

What do we think?

Proposal to change rule 7

Rule 7 prohibits profanity on articles and their comments. This was done because, naturally, a website that has Nickelodeon in its name attracts a younger audience. Most of these youngins below the age of 13 don't know how to properly use expletives, thinking profanity itself is just funny to use (when it's not). A perfect example of this would be our beloved, inactive cyberbully David. But, considering the fact Wikia no longer appeals to children, I think it's time this rule gets changed.

My proposal: allow profanity. Here's the thing though, we all have a good sense of judgement, yes? If profanity is spotted being used out of context OR being unnecessarily overused (ex. the f-bomb in every sentence) OR just in a way where it makes no sense, you'll be forced to censor it or have the expletive removed entirely. As a teenager, we should all know how to properly use this type of language, I mean, we hear it everywhere (thanks for tainting my purity Merica). Using profanity in any of the three aforementioned ways generally gives everybody a good estimation of your age, which would clearly be below 13.

And I'm well aware profanity is against Wikia's Terms of Use, but literally every other wiki I go on I see expletives. So if staff wants to get up my ass about this, they need to explain why other wikis get this privilege.

So, support the proposal? Against it? Discuss.

Proposal to enact a new rule

No alternate accounts, because this has become a problem as of lately. I had no qualms against this originally, but when people abuse something like this you ruin it for everyone else. If you're switching accounts, then you're original account will be blocked. Only admins are allowed bot accounts.

Sockpuppets were outlawed from the beginning, and yes there is a difference between a sock and an alt.

Your user category

Some of you have more than one, so I need you to clarify which category you use. Your user category is basically the category that says "[User]'s works" or "Created by [User]" or maybe just "[User]." For example, mine is KM Zone. Asking this because I'm going to cleanup user categories next.

Clarifying on the irrelevant comments rule

Because people still don't get it. If you post a comment on an article and it has nothing to do with it, your comment is irrelevant and it will be removed. However, your comment can be random so long as you're still talking about the subject of the article. A joke in response to a joke on an article is also irrelevant because this inevitably leads to an off-topic discussion. Now, let's list some examples.

On an article about birds:
"Cool monkeys."
Irrelevant.

On an article about a character:
"He smells."
Irrelevant (UNLESS the article talks about the character's personal hygiene).

On any articles:
"Hey [User] go on chat."
Irrelevant (we have message walls for a reason).

On an article about anything but has images:
"Hey what do you use to make those pictures?"
Relevant (the images are part of the article, and thus comments relating to them are relevant).

On the Bagel article:
"I eat bagels."
Irrelevant (you're talking about bagels, but you're not talking about the character Bagel so it's irrelevant).

On an article called Peter (the page doesn't exist):
"Peter."
Relevant, although this would technically be considered spam and get removed anyways.

If people keep violating this rule, It'll become a blockable offense. If you wanna joke around, we have chat (amongst other things). If you all think chat is useless, tell me now so I can disable our only true way of instant, coherent communication that connects the community.

Should Web Present At Cartoon Con 2014?

As you know, Web aka KingOfSpriters12 has been indefinitely banned. Web has now approached me asking if he can present. (He'll just make his announcements and then have someone post them) I have decided to put this matter in your hands.
