AniWeekends is a Saturday night/Sunday morning block on SurgeAnime dedicated to anime programming, including premieres, movies, and syndicated anime programming.
In 2018, it was announced that the block will return to a more simple 6 hour block, running from 7pm to 1am. This schedule change will happen on July 14, 2018.

In late 2016, after Halloween Horror Month '16, it was announced that a 9 hour version of the block will air in the United States, and European countries.
Halloween Horror Month[]
Every October since 2014, horror was shown on the special Saturday/Sunday block.
For the 2017 edition, an original series will air during the regular AniWeekend block, but the "horror" block will start at midnight so it wouldn't interfere with new episodes. This practice continued with the 2018 edition, however the "horror" block now starts at 11. Two new shows will premiere at 10 and 10:30, preceding the horror block.
