That's Convenient is an upcoming animated sitcom to be aired on Vision. It is produced by Firebasket Studios and created by then-RaGE Media intern Skylar Duke. It started airing in the winter of 2009 as a test show, and was picked up after the second week, and production started on the later half of the season to air in the late winter. It started running as a fall series in 2011 and has kept to that schedule since then.

Plot[]

A group of friends buy some land in the outskirts of Seattle, Washington and start up a convenience store to help people on their way in and out of the city.

Production[]

In the spring of 2009, RaGE Media intern Skylar Duke pitched a sitcom idea about a convenience store founded by a group of friends, and wrote out simple plot lines for multiple episodes, and three of them were selected to run as a test season (officially the first season) in the winter of that year.

The first season was animated by using the program Antics 2-D Animation with using Adobe After Effects as a post production program. The second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth season were produced with OpenToonz and Adobe After Effects. Season seven onwards used a combination of Toon Boom Harmony, Autodesk Maya, Flash/Animate, and Adobe After Effects.
